JENCHIEH HUNG

The theme "PAST PRESENT PERFECT" delves into the intricate relationship between past experiences and their ongoing influence on the present. It suggests that our personal histories, memories, and actions continue to shape who we are today, blurring the lines between past and present. In this context, the "perfect" aspect implies that something completed in the past has a lasting impact, continuously influencing our current realities. Jenchieh Hung, in his work, often reflects on the concept of time and transformation, seamlessly intertwining the past with the present in a way that challenges how our histories shape our present identities. His approach suggests that the present is not simply an accumulation of past moments, but rather a complex, layered process in which the past remains ever-present, subtly, and sometimes profoundly, shaping our current experience. Both Jenchieh Hung and HAS Design and Research’s thinking likely emphasize that while the past may be behind us, it continues to affect and shape the ongoing narrative of who we are.
